Social security advice
Depending on the specific situation social security coverage may switch to another country when international employees are involved. Often an assignee will become subject to the social security of the state where he will be assigned to. However, under certain conditions it is possible to remain (exclusively) covered by the home social security scheme. In case a social security treaty has been concluded between the home and the work state it might be possible to apply for a certificate of coverage indicating that the assignee remains covered by the home social security scheme. As such, no social premiums have to be paid in the work state.
