Stay Compliant: Ensure Timely Reporting of Changes to the IND as a Recognized Sponsor!

At Tax Globalizers Expat Solutions, we emphasize the importance of adhering to the duty of disclosure for recognized sponsors among our clients. It is vital that when applying, the details of a contact person within your organization are clearly stated. While we typically communicate through the designated representative, having a direct contact within the organization is crucial for the Immigration and Naturalization Service (IND).

It is your responsibility to report any changes that affect the residence permit or your status as a recognized sponsor to the IND within four weeks. This includes changes in the situation of the foreign national, such as leaving the Netherlands or insufficient income, as well as changes within your organization, like cessation, financial difficulties, or changes in registrations.

Furthermore, changing the administrative address falls under your duty to administrate. Remember to report this to the IND within two weeks.

For smooth communication with the IND, it is also advisable to report changes that do not directly fall under a mandatory reporting obligation, such as a new postal address or contact person within your organization.

Lastly, remember that foreign nationals are required to report their emigration or relocation within the Netherlands to the municipality. As a sponsor, you are obligated to inform the IND if the foreign national fails to do so.

At Tax Globalizers Expat Solutions, we are ready to guide you through this process and ensure that you fully comply with your duty of disclosure and reporting obligations, allowing your organization and its international talents to focus on what truly matters.
